Autumn in Ireland brings cooler weather and less daylight hours than Summer but that doesn’t mean there are a lack of things to do once you have moored up your hire boat for the evening. Ireland is renowned for its hospitality and ‘craic’ which is in abundance within the pubs & restaurants dotted along the Shannon.
River Shannon Nightlife – Dining
Although all of our cruisers have more than adequate facilities for cooking on-board, there are many choice restaurants in each town and village, for when you feel like hanging up your apron. Ireland Guide provides a comprehensive list of eateries along the length of the Shannon, which cover a wide selection of tastes including Indian, Thai & Italian. There are restaurants to suit everyones’ budget from the more exclusive, to the cheap and cheerful establishments.
